Acting for a School/Trust

Hi everyone,

We acted for a school in delivering an educational seminar, which was then offered out to other schools in the same trust. The school has asked us to invoice the trust rather than the school directly. What’s everyone’s view on this?

I believe the answer is very simple.

You need to be asking yourself “who is our client?”.

When you have established that you will be able to decide who gets a VAT invoice and who, if any, does not.
