Kate Bowkett is a legal finance and compliance specialist with a wealth of experience and a sustained record of working in the law practice industry. She started her accounting career as a Legal Cashier in 1984 – a career that now spans 5 decades and 4 versions of the Accounts Rules.

Over the past 38 years, she has has worked as a freelancer, for sole practitioners, small high street practices to large corporate firms of varying sizes and complexities. She’s had many roles from Legal Cashier to senior management. Known for enjoying the sorting out almighty messes, Kate really has done and experienced it all.
When asked why she wanted to help the Association of Legal Compliance & Accounts, her reply was simply “It’s my time to give back now”.
