Linda Lambert

Linda Lambert has been training in the legal world since 2001, and has tutored AAT and other professional accounting courses during her 40 years career in legal services.

Linda gained a Bachelor of Commerce – Accountancy degree at The University of Birmingham, and started out with Barclays Bank before starting her accounting career with Bloomer Heaven & Co. now MHA Bloomer Heaven. There she did auditing and incomplete records before moving into the legal sector. Linda has worked at solicitors practicing in Birmingham, Wolverhampton as Finance Manager and then Kidderminster as Practice Manager before going freelance to enable the training part of her career to grow.

Once freelanced she has done consultancy work with a firm facing SRA intervention, covering for cashier absenteeism and maternity cover, as well as, individual training in the SRA account’s rules within cashiering teams. This has been alongside her own clients for cashiering and finance management. The in- house training has included firms in Bristol, London (Square mile too) and once in Glasgow (using the Scottish Rules !).

She is based in South Shropshire and still cashiering. Her hobbies include patchwork, reading, and going to model railway events with her husband’s firm – Finney 7 and, of course, the Severn Valley Railway as steam trains are an interest too.
