Online Workshops

All training is delivered live, interactive and is recorded. We bridge the gap between ‘face-to-face’ and online training by applying a blended approach. Questions can be posed to trainers throughout the workshops with quizzes/polls being used to engage with attendees.

Workshops can be continuously replayed for 60 days after broadcast.

Why Online

It’s really simple:

  • Reduced cost
  • Can be taken anywhere on any device – no travel time or cost
  • Shorter and more efficient than face-to-face
  • Live and interactive
  • Recorded and can be replayed at your leisure

Online – the Cons?

At present, the majority of training providers are offering online training services, under the guise of webinars – some live, some pre-recorded. The live mainly consisting of the trainer talking with little or no engagement with the delegate – this is a common perception as to what a webinar is. This can feel very lonely and isolated. It requires strong, self-motivation and time management skills. The learner’s mood is exceptionally difficult for the trainer to read – a good trainer will read body language within the room. Also, if you have a technical issue, then accessing the online learning resources can become difficult. Where there is no accreditation, the quality of the course content can come into question.

Face-to-Face

All training is delivered live, interactive and explores everyday scenarios, case studies, practical guidance, encouraging discussions with workshop questions and answers throughout the day. We bridge the gap between ‘face-to-face’ and online training by applying a blended approach. Questions can be posed to trainers throughout the workshops with quizzes/polls being used to engage with attendees.

Why Face-to-Face

Individuals have the opportunity to connect with, problem-solve, and network with others from a wide range of backgrounds that online environments usually can’t replicate. Direct interaction with the trainer is also beneficial. You may also feel more comfortable and learn more easily in a familiar, traditional classroom situation.

Face-to-Face – the Cons

It’s expensive and time consuming. Online training can be recorded and viewed over and over again, whereas face-to-face training is delivered and the learner is left to rely on their memory and notes. A classroom setting can also stifle learning by allowing dominant personalities to take the bulk of the discussion environments. Quieter individuals become limited in their communication options for exchanging ideas and information.

On Demand Training

On Demand training is a substantial library of pre-recorded training videos which you can watch as many times as you like at your own leisure. Questions can be posed to trainers during and after the video, with responses being provided within 48 hours.

Why On Demand

It’s really simple:

  • Reduced cost
  • Can be watched anywhere, anytime on any device – no travel time or cost
  • Shorter and more efficient than face-to-face
  • Recorded and can be replayed at your leisure

Online – the Cons

On Demand is not for everyone one. People learn differently and watching a pre-recorded training video can feel very lonely and isolated. It requires strong, self-motivation and time management skills. There is no opportunity to ask a question and receive an answer straight away as you would with an online or a face-to-face workshop.

Bespoke Training

Firm specific training often offers a more cost effective and flexible solution if your organisation requires tailored training for multiple attendees.

Why Bespoke?

Your firm can benefit from customised versions of our current workshops tailored to suit your particular needs or we can develop one-off solutions if you have a specific training requirement.

The Benefits of In-House Training:

  • Highly interactive and confidential learning environment
  • Training cost per head and lost fee earning time are reduced
  • Tailored content and course materials
  • Administration, travelling expenses and accommodation costs are eliminated
  • Delivery of a firm-wide message and standard

e-Learning – the Cons?

e-Leanring is not for everyone one. People learn differently and reading written content and watching a pre-recorded training video can feel very lonely and isolated. It requires strong, self-motivation and time management skills. There is no opportunity to ask a question and interact with others as you would with an online or a face-to-face training workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our online workshops are delivered via Zoom. You can access the session via your computer, tablet or mobile device.

Details on how to join the online session will be provided the day before the training goes live.

We recommend you run a system test and check your internet speed by clicking HERE.

If your firm prevents you from using Zoom, please contact us.

There is no requirement to attend live but we advise that you do where you can as this will be the best experience for you. Don’t forget, you can pose questions live to the trainer and join in with the interaction when you attend live. Also, be mindful that you have access to the recording for 30 days, after which, it will no longer be available.

Not at all. We prefer it if candidates do as it makes the training more engaging but it is not mandatory to turn your camera or microphone on during the training session.

If you don’t have a microphone, you can still pose questions using the chat facility.

Our face-to-face workshops are hosted and presented within the main cities of the UK. Details on the actual venue will be provided closer to the date.
