Compliant payment methods

We’re looking to streamline how clients send money to our client account. Currently all payments come in via bank transfer, and we’d like to explore more automated or client-friendly alternatives.

I’ve vetoed Stripe as my understanding is that routing client funds through it would put us in breach of client account rules – but happy to be corrected on that!

Has anyone found a payment solution that is compliant with the account rules and offers a smoother experience than a manual bank transfer? Would love to hear what others are using. Thanks in advance!

Hi, we have a “PayOnline” function linked to our website which allows clients to make payment of our invoices or monies on account up to a limit of £10k direct into our client account. We get an emailed notification each time we are in receipt of funds, other than that we would prefer bank transfers

Are you able to tell me why you think Stripe is non compliant? We use Stripe and our auditors have never had an issue with this. Thanks!
